How many URLs can an XML sitemap contain?+
A single sitemap can contain up to 50,000 URLs and must be no larger than 50 MB uncompressed. Larger sites should use a sitemap index.
Does a sitemap guarantee indexing?+
No. A sitemap helps discovery and supplies hints, but search engines still decide which eligible URLs to crawl and index.
