Product links are part of useful directory profiles, not a separately sold ranking product. Community and Premium receive the same permanent listing format. Premium pays for publication speed, launch timing and time-limited promotion.
Purpose and scope
SEO Tech List helps search professionals and builders discover SEO software, AI visibility and GEO products, Agent Skills, MCP servers, APIs and open-source search infrastructure.
This policy applies to curated catalog entries, maker submissions, editorial collections, comparisons, launch archives and promotional placements. It supplements our Terms of Service.
Sources and research
Listings may combine information supplied by makers with public first-party sources such as official product websites, documentation, repositories, release pages and public company profiles.
When a public GitHub repository is available, automated refreshes may update stars, releases, licence information and recent repository activity. Website availability is also checked periodically. Automated signals are labelled and may be delayed.
Publication standards
A submission must identify a functioning product or public project, use a reachable official destination and have a clear relationship to SEO, search, AI visibility, GEO, AEO or search infrastructure.
We may correct formatting, rewrite supplied copy for clarity, assign categories, remove unsupported claims and request missing information. We do not publish unlawful, malicious, fraudulent or infringing material.
Link policy
A normal product profile includes an editorial link to the official website and, where relevant, a separate public repository link. Those destinations help readers verify the product and continue their research.
The ordinary destination link is not sold separately, and payment does not change its anchor text, qualification or ranking treatment. We do not promise “link juice”, domain-rating increases, search rankings or inclusion in AI answers.
Links introduced solely as advertisements, sponsorships, affiliate relationships or other paid external placements are qualified where appropriate, including with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow".
Premium promotion
Premium purchases faster publication, launch-date control, homepage visibility, category priority, a featured badge and click analytics for the periods shown at checkout. It does not purchase a different permanent product link.
Editorial guides and comparisons remain separate from Premium placement. Payment does not guarantee inclusion in a “best” guide, a favourable comparison, traffic, backlinks, rankings or commercial results.
Ownership and website badges
Owners may verify control through GitHub repository permissions, DNS, a temporary website badge or a work-email review. Verification confirms control of a relevant account or destination; it is not a product endorsement.
The website badge is an optional verification route and may be removed after verification. Keeping it is voluntary. Publishers remain free to qualify the badge link with an appropriate rel value.
Updates and corrections
Verified owners can submit corrections and product updates through the owner dashboard. Readers and product teams can also report inaccurate, outdated or disputed information to hello@seotechlist.com.
We may update, archive or remove listings that become materially inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful or disconnected from a functioning product.
Editorial independence
SEO Tech List is operated by Wojciech Skrzek, trading as WebMoose. Commercial placement is labelled through its location, badges or surrounding copy. Editorial descriptions aim to distinguish documented capabilities from our own contextual analysis.
If a material commercial, affiliate or ownership relationship could affect how a listing is understood, we will disclose it on the relevant page.
